Guide service and instruction are available from mid-April thru early November.
Confirmation and Wind Check
I will expect a call (541 490-4401) from you between 8:00 and 8:30 am
the morning of the reservation to confirm the location and time.
(If the wind is happening later in the day we will delay the lesson,
or if the wind is east or west of Hood River we can chase it).
Required gear for windsurfing and kitesurfing in The Gorge.
You should bring a wetsuit, gloves and booties.
Heavyweight wetsuit for May, June and October.
Lightweight wetsuit for July, August and September.
(Hood River is a great place to get a wetsuit because there are more styles,
sizes and shapes for sale here then anywhere else in North America.
Heavyweight wetsuits are available for rent in town.)
I have a harness, flotation jacket and helmet you can use,
but you might be more comfortable if you can bring your own.
