Kitesurf Monday

We will start out by reviewing the concept of kitesurfing safety and self-rescue, followed by a discussion on body dragging and power strokes and a review of relaunching the kite from the water.

Second Flight
Equipment: Small trainer kite.

First you will learn to turn a kite by feel, soon you will need to watch where you are going, not watch the kite. Then, when are looking you can work on more precise patterns in the sky and flying the kite with one hand. Next you will work on body dragging, kites act differently once you are moving. Since you no longer have your feet planted in the sand we can start to work on the power strokes used for waterstarting.

You will start to put the kite where you want it to be in the sky.
