We will discuss body position, weight distribution, controlling board speed and review the details of waterstarting.

Fifth Flight
Equipment: Medium sized four-line kite and large directional board.

You will start by practicing relaunching the kite and then work on body dragging to get a feel for the slower turning speed and the increased power of the larger kite. When you are comfortable with the power of the kite you will work on waterstarting and kitesurfing for 100 feet and stopping.

You will feel the tremendous power of a kitesurfing kite and how it changes as you move.
